THE BEGINNING

1905: First Student Council formed at Emory

1947: Dooley Frolics organized and funded by Student Council, IFC, and Publicity Council

 

THE “NEW” YEARS

1955: College Council Founded

1971: Establishment of the first time Robert’s Rules were used in meeting (February 17, 1971)

1977: Dooley’s Week starts from funding and guidance of College Council and IFC

1982: Joint ownership of Dooley’s Week between CC, IFC, and Panhellenic Council

 

PRESENT DAY

2000: College Council hosts first State of Race event

2005: College Council celebrates its 100th Anniversary

2013: College Council hosts its first CultureShock event
